I want to get a netbook for my work and would like to surf on the internet when I'm on public transports, but I don't know much about netbooks, I wonder if you guys could have any recommendations to me please? Which one should I choose? Sony? Samsung? Fujitsu? And where can I buy it for a good price?

ASUS right now makes top of the line high quality netbooks for a great price. What can you expect from the company that invited the netbook ;)

Personally, I like Sony the most, go get it and compare the price here: http://shopping.yahoo.com/s:Laptops:156638-Notebook%20Type=Netbook:4168-Brand=sony
Or, if you believe your luck, you can consider join the Lucky Draw competition and get the Sony W netbook here for totally FREE: http://www.dsstyles.com/

I've got to go with nxarmada on the ASUS netbooks, i'm not saying Sony's aren't nice but feature per feature ASUS's often offer the most bang for the buck and they get top reviews on most all their netbooks.

I like Sony. And I've just read a review from gizmodo.com and find a review on a very nice and elegant iPhone case there by dsstyles.com, they seem to have a xmas lucky draw promotion there too.

Is the thing that worries me. I have the same chip. and It seems underpowered for encoding H246.

Look for a netbook with a Ion chipset that can use CUDA applications that process video or audio files (among other things) on GPU cores.

like the Lenovo IdeaPad S12
