Just reading someone saying don't use FME3 as much slower than the 2.5 version.

I honestly find fme3 quality much better and has more options than 2.5.

Any proof to back up this claim fme3 is slower?

Anyone know why black or dark colours come out very blury online, my upload speed i use is usually 400-500 kbps. So not highest quality, but black defo does not come out well on my stream.

Any ideas what settings i should use.

I currently use

VIDEO
VH6
30FPS
320X240
450KBPS BIT RATE

AUDIO
MP3
MONO
22050
56KBPS BIT RATE

I find the audio very good even at that lower setting, all this is in FME3, is anything i should change in video settings to get abit better picture?

Also as i say fme 2.5 or fme 3?

I can't tell any difference. I would recommend Version 3

I wouldn't go any higher.

Meh, H.264 is good if you have high upload, then again, if you use H.264 you actually use less Upload, meaning you can go Higher with the bit rate :\

Setting can vary, and the best thing to do it to test things out you're self and see what works for you. :)

Good Luck.

I have heard this too... "Download and install Adobe (FME) Flash Media Encoder 2.5 (NOT 3.x) . FME3.x is far, far slower (~400% slower) than FME2.5.
Do not run FME"

I have been using FME 3.0, (waiting for 4.0) grrrrrr

FAQ: On2 VP6 and H.264 for Adobe Flash Player : here http://support.on2.com/h264_faq.php

I do not think it will make a difference. H246 might look a a little better. with only 450 kbps

and for this "black" can you get us a sscreen shot or clip?

LIES!

fordy945 had been here awhile too. He knows a lot of stuff I seem to over-look. The community is lucky to have you around.
