Just wondering if there's a way i can get the best quality out of this... it doesn't seem like .41 mbps upload is very good =/
Also, me and my friend are looking for a good cheap omni directional mic to pick up our voices, but we also want to pick up that and the sound coming off my t.v. into one source for FME, how would we go about doing this?

As for the quality question, try broadcasting with a bitrate of 300kbps to start, and if the delay isn't too bad, then start working your way up. Trial and error until you find the best for yourself.
JTV also has a wizard to automatically select the best bitrate to your internet settings. Try that out.
For the mic question, if it can connect to your computer in the mic jack, you should just be able to select your soundcard in the audio section of FME.

Yeah experimentation is the best way to get a perfect stream.
For audio if you have some extra money i recomend getting a mixer if you want both your voices and the tv (remember you CAN'T mix usb mics with external sounds sources)

Well, the only thing that i get in the drop down menu of my audio section is front mic(or the mic in the back whichever i have it in at the time), line-in, and stereo mix
i don't see my sound card
and my mic plugs into the mic jack.
we recently purchased a mic... but it doesn't work at all, the only way it picks us up is if we turn it all the way up and turn the decibal boost way up as well, and you still have to be like 2 feet away from it for it to pick up anything, and the white noise is terrible with the decibal boost up like that.
