I cant say how well they work for mac's.

I have one for my winXP.

You say "capture card" is this actually an add-on USB external device type ?

So, the dazzle comes in a few different models, when you look at the package it only tells you the "general" model line.

Once you open the package you'll find out the actual model number ( nice product packaging eh.. ( i have posted a complaint on the dazzle forum about the packaging design).

So, iv bought a DVC100 ( White body ), it has a flaky sound driver.

The (Red Body ) DVC100 is said to be the best of them and according to dazzle's support forum, it's due to the driver design / install.

They say the RED dv100 installs its driver as selectable cam with sound source ( i believe they described it that way)

where as the White bodied DVC100 ( the one iv got ) doesn't, so it's pain some times to use.

If you insist on buying a dazzle get the Red bodied DVC100, or better yet go with another brand all together... IMHO.

In any case, the red bodied DVC100 is the way to go..
