So I'm trying to broadcast games from my PC.
I've followed the guide:
http://community.justin.tv/forums/showthread.php?t=14
Every step exactly as explained.

My setup:
Windows Vista 32bit.
Using Firefox 3.5, also tried in internet explorer.
and VhScrCap.

I've setup the settings as described in the above guide. But when I go to click broadcast on my account Firefox completely crashes after popping up the VH Multi Cam studio window. Any ideas how to fix this?

What are you using for your audio source?

Also are you using Good or Best?

I'm trying to stream my PSP, so I'm using a mic line-in through the PC for my audio, and I'm trying to use best for broadcasting but I usually don't get far enough to choose one.

As soon as I click the broadcast button, the window to choose best/good etc pops up and immediately crashes.

Edit:
One of my friends followed the same steps to setup his PSP broadcast on his computer, and it worked perfectly fine for him, and he doesn't have any audio input yet.

I've also tried broadcasting just games on my PC like WoW, and still get the FireFox crash.

Go to TestMyCam (http://www.testmycam.com).

Does that crash when you hit allow?

When I click Allow the VH Multi Cam Studio window comes up and shortly after FireFox crashes.

Alright, this is what I would recommend.

Play around with the settings a little bit. Most likely one of your sources is having a conflict with flash and is shutting it down.

First, try a different browser. Clear your cache and cookies. If it still does the same thing, go back to TestMyCam:

Right click (on the accept/deny window) and go to settings and click the microphone button. Change the audio source. Then try it. Still crash? Do the same with trying a different video source.

Also try reinstalling flash.

If you want an alternative solution instead of doing all this, give Flash Media Encoder (http://www.justin.tv/p/fme) a try.

Let me know how this turns out.

See I use FME when I broadcast console games, I didn't even think to use that in conjunction with VhScrCap. That works just fine so I'm not even gonna mess with all the other stuff then lol.

Anyways thanks for all the help, I'm glad I finally got things working. :)

Hi Dylan- I am having similar issues to Moheecci. All Browsers crash when choosing broadcast button. It was working fine last night. I have not been able to choose Broadcast today without crashing.
Cleared cache, cookies, Test Cam site also crashed Firefox, chose good for audio quality. I know this is a flash problem but JTV has to find a way around it for its users.
We are not blaming JTV so please so do not say it is not a JTV bug. If Adobe causes so many issues find another way!
Is there someway around the flash issue. I am using Hometheater Program as my camera. Again this worked last night! FME not compatible. Isn't there something JTV can do to make connecting less flimsy. Seems like there is too much trying to "trick the system" stuff.

What I am using:XP/All browsers including Firefox/WinIntervideo Hometheater Program/No actual wecam microphone being used

Hello,

Have you tried doing what I had Mohecchi do? Uninstall your source and try Superwebcam. If that works, we'll go from there.
