Connection Issues FMLE

Hi. I'm experiencing a connection issue with my stream using Flash Media Live Encoder. My stream does okay but on and off throughout broadcast it will disconnect and then quickly reconnect. I am using a PC with win32 Hauppage capture card. 128MB ram. Pentuim 3 733mhz processor Winxp SP2

DSL connection.

Also when I or my viewers refresh after the disconnect issue. we sometimes are prompted to log back in my channel(private channel) Upon entering the password it will just prompt for password again. and continue to do so repeatedly for up to 10 minutes before finally letting us back in.
Any help would be appriciated.

The disconnect issue could be the fact you don't have your OS patched.

Service Pack 3 has been out for XP for quite some time and most (if not all) pc's run better after getting that SP3 update and there are other updates that may help internet connections so updating your OS and maybe even seeing if there are newer drivers for your motherboard are the first things I would try.


On the repeated password issue where it doesn't accept the password, several people have seen that so its a known situation.

Some people just have to close that internet window and then open a new one and then they find they can enter when they try to get into the private broadcast again however someone here a while back said they had to actually reboot their pc to get that to clear for them.
