Hello I will try to explain my predicament as best I can.

I have a Dazzle DVC 100 and as I came to found out I could not get the audio stream to JTV. To solve this I ordered an audio RCA to 3.5 mm but unfortunately I do not know how to make it work with my external mic port on my laptop and I can not exactly test it because my Xbox is in for repairs right now.

It is also the problem I have a built-in mic on my laptop and I need to have someway to test the audio for my mic-in port on my laptop and enable it so it can get the audio from my TV to the computer through the mic in.

Thanks in advance and sorry I'm probably confusing in my explanation I'm just a tad frustrated because I want to make it work so I can broadcast video games.

(P.S. If it matters at all I do plan to get an audio mixer)

What OS do you have?

For vista, once you plug in something to your microphone port, it should override the Built In Mic.

So what is the problem exactly?

Go into the Sound area of your Control Panel, then go to Recording tab, then select the proper input and enable it as default. Disable any secondary devices that you do not want to show up. If you only have 1 recording input listed as enabled and defaulted, then nearly all recording applications will automatically default to this single entry.

This is the cable I got...is this the right one I had to get? (For the TV audio to go in to the MIC IN jack on my laptop)
