Hi All,

Last year we ran the first ever disc golf tournament with live coverage thanks to Justin.tv. It was awesome and the kudos and the "how'd you do that"s kept coming in for months. Thank you Justin.tv for making this possible.

This year, we want to have coverage of four different groups. What is the most user friendly way to do this?

For example, when I watch golf on TV, they jump from group to group where something interesting is happening. We'd like to do something similar without making the viewer have to click from window to window.

Not sure how advanced your setup is, but DEFINANTELY check out "Wirecast". It is compatible with JTV and really makes things look professional, with professional transitions from camera to camera.

Here is the website: http://www.telestream.net/wire-cast/overview.htm

Try setting up a Server to Server onnection for multiple feeds to JTV. You could use Flash Media SERVER and run it from either your computer (which would probably cause it to crash wtih four feeds) or a server that you can host or buy.

www.inmotionhosting.com has very good offers. I can only recommend it (using it myself)

Check out this topic also..I mentioned the idea for the server to server connection to someone else already:

If you have money, buy yourself a server - run your stream from there (with Flash Media Server) and then set up a server to server stream with JTV. The you could even stream multiple channels and so on...

It would cost you a lot of money. But it is an option. As always:

If you want something nice you have to pay the price! :D

Oh and...if you get in touch with a server host you might even be able to ask for the location you want and basically cut your packet loss in half by having it in Denver or so.

A good server with unlimited bandwith and storage is abot $120 a year ...with 5 domains and lots of fun stuff.

www.inmotionhosting.com is where I got mine.

Thanks for the great suggestions. I don't know if Wirecast will be able to work with multiple wireless connections - their FAQs suggested I contact them first and I've shot them an email.

I am confident that I don't have the resources (time, ability or money) to set up our own server and do it that way, although it would clearly be the ideal solution as we would have total control.

-------

Last year we had a video camera connected to a laptop connected to the internet via a internet connect card. This feed went straight to Justin.tv.

This year, I was picturing four such setups streaming to Justin.tv, but maybe my picture of how this should best work could be improved.
