There are lots of different ways to get your channel discovered or to give yourself that extra bump. Here are some of the features we have at JTV to help that.
From your channel page, if you click on the "share" link under your video you'll see these options:

Or you can update your MySpace and Twitter every time you broadcast. You can find these options in your Settings link at the top of the page near your home directory.

Or lastly from this area you can invite your friends from your email address book or your MySpace account
