Step 2. Make sure your Easycap is plugged in and working!

Step 3. Open up VCAM Manager and go to 'Options' Click on 'Camera Settings'

set video output too 512x288 or any resolution you want. Set Framerate to 30.00 then click apply a few times.

Next go to 'Output' Set the Video Resize Method to 'Stretch to fill' then click Ok then restart VCAM!

Step 4. On VCAM go to 'Source' and click 'Video Capture'

Step 5. Select your capture card and click 'Play capture device'

Step 6. Open up Flash Live Media Encoder 3.0 (google it)

Step 7. Set all your settings on FME (Download the .XML at the broadcast section)

Note: You may not get sound from your capture card, well guess what I have the method to that.

To Get sound to work from your capture card:

Vista users: Go to 'Control Panel' than go to 'Device Manager'. Under 'Universal Serial Bus' Look for

'USB Composite Device' (There maybe more than so look for the bus your capture card in)

Right Click then click 'Uninstall' (You may need to restart...so once your PC is booted up the device will reinstall) You can use this method when you get no sound!

Note: to fix static go to Recording setting than go to the line in settings by double clicking it

Go to Advance Tab and switch Cd Quality to DVD Quality then click ok and apply.

Other Method you can use http://www.amazon.com/Stereo-Female-Adapter-Manhattan-336505/dp/B0009JFF7K/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1273387655&sr=8-3 plug it into your mic/line in port (if plugged in as mic jack turn down the volume to 0)

Is the fullscreen preview response time fast eough to game off?

When I select my easycap(USB 2861 device) as the source and then click play capture device button it gives an already in use error when that's not the case. I had a look at the video recorder option and it actually displays properly in the preview window there.

Did you have this problem on the trial version untill you registered for the full version or is it just a case of it not liking my particular version of Easycap(DC60+) ?

Try them out at justin.tv/p/dub. They are free for first 10,000 Justin broadcasters, then the price is $199. They should work for widescreen...
