I have heard many users asking about this so here it is your thread
the symptoms are
Channel Audio
No video
Chat box taking some time to load ( some times wont load )
IF you are experiencing this then
this is what we need from you :
1.- OS ( operative System )
2.- Browsers and version ( all the version numbers )
3.- Country
4.- ISP ( this is who provides you with your internet service )
5.- Flash Version ( all the numbers ) dont know which version are you running find out here (http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/)
6.- Screen shots of what you are getting ( if you don't know how to get a screenshot go here (http://graphicssoft.about.com/cs/general/ht/winscreenshot.htm))
7.- give the name of the channel where the pic(s) is/are from
Update: July 31st
The staff has been informed of the issue and is currently working on a solution
thanks to all of you for your feedback
Update 2: August 1st, 2009
It seems to be related to the new flash version, so here it is the Staff suggestion for now will keep you posted
The version of Flash you have installed may have a bug which prevents it from playing h264 (high quality) video. If you are seeing blank/black video but hearing audio, that's the cause of the problem. Please install Flash 9 from: http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html#fp9.

I have confirmed that this is indeed the problem. I uninstalled my current version of Adobe Flash Player 10.0.32.18 which is the latest available.
Older version of Adobe Flash Player - http://www.oldapps.com/flash_player.php?old_flash_player=15#Download

Thanks for all the useful advise. I too had the same problem after an auto upgrade however I was not able to go back to an older version. cleared cookies etc... properly un installed , tried several downlads for the older version...the one listed here as well as one from Adobe. My Vista was not having any of it lol. So I re installed the latest version of Adobe and tried using it in safari and it works perfectly!! I have never been an IE fan and less so since the last IE upgrade I have been having a slew of crashing and freezing issues. So you might want to save some headaches and just so NO to IE lol.

Same problem for me. Uninstalled latest version 10,0,32,18, installed version 10.0.12.36, and JTV website prompts for installation of the latest version.
Som I reinstalled 10,0,32,18, and can't view HD video.

Just installed Google Chrome, video is back and I'm not surprised. The browser is much faster and smoother too. I guess that shouldn't be a surprise either. So now I have a choice....stop suffering with IE

For those of you who are using for some unexplicable reason IE in any of their versions
you will need to have a system restore to the day you updated the flash player
you could try to downgrade the version to 10.0.22.XX or something like that or as the mayority use Firefox or Cometbird

I have a message from the staff stating that this problem should be resolved tonight. The video servers will be resetting sometime during the next few hours in order to apply the update to fix the issue with the latest version of Adobe Flash Player.
