Hello readers, so i haven't seen this any where and there are no tutorials but there are people that know about this Multiple casting and they just don't want to share it. Well i don't do it my self but I do know how to do it so heres my quick tutorial on how to start.
(Might only work with 3.1. Friends have had problems with older versions)

Step 1: Channels

Create two channels! you need two channels to cast to multiple channels.
You can create a Justin.tv Account/ Channel here http://www.justin.tv/broadcast/signup
If you have trouble thinking about a name for a second channel try something like Lite, Light or HD after your current channel name if you have one.

Step 2: FME Setup - Beginners Guide

So if you cast currently and have everything setup your half way done you can skip to Step 2.5: FME Setup.

So now you have your Channel(s) you need Flash Media Live Encoder or known as FME.
FME can be downloaded HERE (http://www.adobe.com/products/flashmediaserver/flashmediaencoder/).
If it asks you to sign in. Please create an Adobe account. It is free and doesn't cost anything.

Once you have downloaded FME you need to download your JTV profile.
That can be downloaded from http://www.justin.tv/broadcast/advanced.
Choose the FME version you have downloaded. Newest Version is 3.1

Now that you have your profile on your PC somewhere you can get to again.
Open FME. On the top left of FME click file> Open Profile. Locate the Profile that you just downloaded.
This now means you can connect to JTV servers and cast.

Step 2.5: FME Setup

In FME 3.1 You want to check off another bit rate.
Just like in the picture below

http://img685.imageshack.us/img685/4392/42589069.jpg

Once you have selected your Second bit rate if your current Channel is not at the highest quality it can be i would suggest increasing the quality.
Then for the second bit rate this is your second channel.
You can make it just has you had it or make it a little lower in quality.

With your FME settings still intact you want to add your second accounts live code.
You can see how in the picture below.

http://img340.imageshack.us/img340/2702/32059705.jpg

So if you can't see the picture or don't understand it.
What you need to do is paste both live codes into the stream section.
In between each live code you need to place a semicolon.
There are no spaces beside the semicolon so keep that in mind.

Step 3: Testing

So now that you have everything setup up you now want to test out your channels to see if it everything works!
This is an outcome of what should show up.

In a final note keep in mind you should have a high upload speed. Something above 3MB or what ever works for you.
Testing is the main thing to do!
If you do have the upload then you should have a decent PC that can handle the stream.
Testing is the main thing to do!

If u need any more help just msg me on JTV here (http://www.justin.tv/message/compose?to=DJ411).

Thanks for the tutorial. Worked great. I have three channels streaming now, all to different bandwidths.

But how do I get them to all share the same chat? Right now they each chat to a different room.

thanks,
Paul

I have a sledge hammer, and I'm not afraid to use it to kill this fly. I'm thinking I'll make a irc bot that will just forward the messages from chat room to chat room.
