Hi all,
I'm trying to broadcast my desktop using manycam 2.4 and FME 2.5.
My upload speed is 489 kbps--not great but I shouldnt be having the kind of problems I'm having.

Even when I set FME to the lowest preset where the total audio+video bitrate is 122 kbps and I broadcast I don't get a smooth picture I get a stuttering image.

Using the standalone broadcaster I get a recommended bitrate of 333 kbps. But again when I broadcast I get a stuttering image rather than a smooth one.

I'm wondering if there are any genius' out there who possibly know of an explanation for this. I'm running Windows XP SP 2 I have 2 GB Ram 2.39 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo.

Thanks for any help

Sometimes a low bitrate will create choppiness.

It may be something with your bandwidth. Try restarting your router and/or modem.

You may have set up a connection greater than you have.

In my case I always leave at 700 Kbps, never more Click "Start." First to carry my webcam virtual "VCAM" and then run the FME.

Then I just open in Justin, and put in the Audio and Video connection maximum.

I don't think "upload speed" is your problem, it's manycam. Try using VH Screen Capture Driver http://community.justin.tv/forums/showthread.php?t=14&highlight=Screen+Capture+Driver
