Yes every month I've been flagged 1 month I understand exactly why and that was for showing the E3 Broadcast. Every other time it was nonsense 2nd time it was for playing a wrestling game and I was shut down 24 hours. Once Again I'm flagged again. I emailed Tia, the CEO, and the normal info@justin. address. Is there other steps I can take? What Am I doing wrong? I'm in gaming? I curse some but geez theres a mature warning on my channel. Personally I got alot of hate an fanboys all the time on me for playing PS3. I know that sounds insand but its true. I have to ban so many mofo's for saying racist comments on top of that. There needs to be a better flag system. I need to know some steps to get this unflagged. Its not fun at all broadcasting in a flagged channel especially when I know on that day I did nothing but played games. What should I do?

Best thing for you to do right now is wait. JTV gets tons of emails. And yeah alot of the hater well sit there and flag your channel just cause they can.

There are plans for a better flagging system. Not sure when it will be done, but you can support the idea by voting on the feature here (http://justintv.uservoice.com/pages/17737-feature-suggestions/suggestions/191205-create-a-review-system-for-flagged-channels). I see this current system abused every night in channels.

Well I deleted all my archives and it got back up today. Someone told me that if you delete your archives and check your tags for anything that might be copyrighted or against the DMCA then you will be okay.

Thanks! JTV thats what I call fast service!! Thanks for the replys everyone! Also lets get a better flagging system!

Maybe you will have better luck than me. I am sick of jtv ACTING ON false reports and never getting back to the channel owner when they try to get help with this.

If jtv would not ACT on false reports, there wouldn't be a problem. My channel has never broadcast anything yet I get shutdown, flagged, etc and then read the email I recieve that says nothing is ever acted on without human review.

Well not true.

The thing with all this is that it's a system that considers you guilty until you jump through hoops of fire to prove your not, and even then you have to wait for it to be fixed. A channel should NOT be shown as flagged until an admin looks at it. If there's a serious problem, there should be a way to inform a site admin immediately, but that rarely ever happens. Like I said in another thread, us broadcasting helps JTV, so taking down streams through an automated system for a month or longer is hurting you as well as us. I used to have 100+ people view my stream, and a single flag has dropped me to about 15-20. I couldn't even participate in the R4L charity streams because I'm still flagged after a month and a half.

Oh, something else...it seems that the only way an admin will view your account is if you go through these steps.

1) Personally contact JTV through the contact page
2) Wait for automated email with info (if you even get it)
3) Notice a tiny portion of the email that says to email back with your username on JTV.
4) THEN wait.

So it's not even that they're reviewing any that get flagged, you have to actually go through all these steps when you get flagged before they even look. Proof? My old stream (http://justin.tv/wandererwillow) was flagged a year and a half ago. I never got an email when I contacted to get unflagged. It's still "awaiting review".

We shouldn't have to "vote" on something when it obviously needs to be fixed. I know atleast 7 different **** good broadcasters that were improperly flagged (some multiple times) and got sick of it, leaving the site. Their fans left with them. In the end, they stream elsewhere, and JTV loses viewers. Guilty until you prove your innocent is NOT the way to run flagging/reports.

Exactly willowplays.

Max said in my thread to do the same things again and wait. How long 2 and 3 weeks????

All the while you have an idiot continuing to report?

In chat they say you need to wait more than a week for them to answer, then they say a week is forever in internet time send an email again.

Also it stops at the step 4 you posted, that never happens. JTV also says it NEVER shutsdown without human review and that just is not true, I have PROOF of that. When they shutdown without review, not only is your channel shut down, but your username is also.

Hello,

On behalf of the Justin.tv Team I truly do apologize. I understand that it can be a very annoying thing that the report system has the potential of being abused, and those victim are left to deal with it.

JTV Staff does it's best to work efficiently to review channels, and unflag them if they need be. Unfortunately this can be delayed due to the mass quanity of things that need to be done.

Understand you unfortunately are not the only one affected by this. Staff is currently thinking (http://justintv.uservoice.com/pages/17737-feature-suggestions/suggestions/191205-create-a-review-system-for-flagged-channels) of a way they can make the reporting feature more effective, and not be a target to misuse.

I am truly sorry for the inconvenience.

Note: Please be sure you have Contacted JTV (http://www.justin.tv/contact). Only once is needed.
