What's up with this? All I have ever done here is watch some NFL last season in Mexico because we don't get it here in Mazatlan.

thanks for the reply. after posting, I thought about it and realized the notice was more than likely about the poster and the FCC, not something I had done. I have to learn to use Mexican Herbs and spices for food, not simply recreation. lol

Yes indeed it was the channel that was banned not yourself. Perhaps the wording of the notice should be changed to avoid confusion in the future.

"This account has been suspended for violating the Terms of Service."

Perhaps it should be:
"The channel you are trying to view has been suspended for violating the Terms of Service."

Something like that would be better.

Hate to hyjack my own thread, but just noticed you're from Mpls. I lived there for many years before retiring to Mexico. South Mpls mostly and 14 years in Eden Prarie. I'm done with the frozen tundra now though. lol

I'm wondering why my channel Nascar_PoWer was suspended. Hadn't streamed anything in over 36 hours. There's a few hundred people wondering why as well. Sent email to info@justin.tv, hoping for answer within a week I suppose.

Have you ever streamed nascar on your channel in the past?

Of course Dylan, been doing it for about 5 months on JTV (along with 5 or 6 others) and my channel is pretty much common knowledge even in the official nascar forums, but there's a little more to it.

I've seen the "channel deleted by copyright holder" message but this is not the same message (account suspended). The twist- I set up a JTV account the night before I was kicked for a friend who had been in a coma with resulting reading disabilities and could never log in correctly with the old user name. The few times she did make it into chat (old user name) I'd put it in slow mode for her to keep up. So I gave her a simpler log in and PW to use and emailed her that info.

Just wondering if that might have something to do with it. Seems a bit coincidental to me and of course nothing from info@justin.tv yet.

Just my 2 cents here, many people have had the pleasure of watching nascarpower's stream. I have been every since I joined JTV. There is not a finer channel host on this whole site. Without his channel I will be very disapointed, and think this is not good for the community as a whole. On average over 2000 people from all over the world have had the privalidge of wacthing his stream.
