Do you have a Router? Try restarting any modem/router and also opening port 1935.

No, I am using my schools network.

Every other computers on campus can receive a signal, but my computer does not receive one. The main difference is that my computer uses vista.

Uhm, I don't see what the port 1935 should have to do with all the problems.

Look, everyone is having the same problems and most likely it has to do with the beta version jtv is currently "testing" or with the recent windoze updates, which almost everyon has recently recieved (July 12th I believe)....I ddnt get any updates...and I have no problems at all.

Since it is onlyjtv for may people it is NOT the browser, the security settings, nor the ports!!!!!

It is most likely just a simple problem with jtv or windoze that will fix itself.

well i have had all the updates and everything is working just fine for me so it has to be something wrong with people settings

or simply with jtv. How can thousands of people have they same false settings all of a sudden? that just doesn't make sense.

It could be that justin.tv has updated something that don't work with the setting that it worked with before the updates to the site

With you being on a School Network, that worries me.

Can you possibly test it on a different network outside of your school?

School networks are pretty strict on their firewall.

if it is a school nework it is a whole different story. Just try at home or in a public network.

Yeah dylan is right on this one, my school (and one of the libraries in my area) have this problem. So it's definitely not on jtv's side....majority of schools block this, so it's a common issue.
