now i actually use this other method to connect to chats, faster one

in the popouts tab of the script editor paste this (at any or all of the locations you choose: status , channel, query,nick list ) , i use status and nick list, that is up to you

GOTOCHANNEL : {
  var %channel $?="channel name"
  /server -m  %channel $+ .jtvirc.com 6667 yourpass -i yourname -j %channel
}

replace your name and password, then with a right click you get a dialog asking you the name of the channel, you type that , clicking OK you go to the channel directly (no need to save channels as favorites or edit anything else), you can also customize GOTOCHANNEL , and the prompt "channel name"

i am connected right now , if jtv is not down like the other day or is doing mantainance (minutes) i am 24/7 since i run a bot , if you can't that is why you don't know how

This is not so much as a reply as it is a question. I have read a few of the guides you have posted Carlos and they seem very helpful if you know how to script already and it is here where I need help and on the confusion whether we can or can't make a bot for ....say my own channel?
