Default Allow button?

Here's the scoop. I want to stream my desktop (gaming). So I start up my screen capture, get ready to go live, but then the allow button disappears. Or rather it was never there.

I only get the allow screen when I have the capture software running, so I know Justin.tv is detecting everything ok... testmycam.com detects it also.

I am running the latest firefox on a linux OS.

Doing a search, it seems this is a common problem but I have not come across a solution that works for me yet...

Also, this may come later in the process or I might have looked over it accidentally, but is there a way to get the direct rtmp link to my stream?

I believe I will need it to get my audio working.

Thanks

What program are you using to stream? I highly recommend using either XSplit or Adobe FMLE with a screen capturing program like VHScrCap to properly do so. The RTMP link is not necessary at all to get your audio working...

I am running a linux box... none of that software works for me.
I am using a program called webcamstudio
It captures and streams the desktop as a video device, then ffmpeg captures the audio and video input, encodes everything to flv, and sends it to the server. I have no problems with that, I just need the RTMP link so I can stream. The problem is not with the software I have, its got something to do with my setup and the site I think. I thought maybe getting past the allow phase meant I could get the RTMP.... Either way, I would like to figure out what is wrong with my browser/settings in regards to that silly button

I apologize but I actually have no experience working with Linux so I can't help on that issue . Good luck and I hope someone here can help you out soon.

PS. There is a list of the JTV RTMP servers around here, let me get it for you and I'll edit my post.

Thankyou!

Nobody out there knows anything about the allow button?
Or where to find my rtmp link?
