Just to be clear, you are talking about a Twitch/gaming channel, correct?

I've been connected to the Twitch chat servers since last weekend with no disconnects.

Yes, i forever had issues trying to get the bot to be in the right channel, there were even times she was unable to connect to the IRC server at all

I'm not sure if its specifically something relating to bots as i've been able to join my IRC channel once i'n broadcasting but i had to keep restarting the bot to try and get her in to it

We use a different chat system than Twitch.tv does. I know they just freshly built it, and they are still working on that.

Justin.tv's Django update isn't going to change Twitch.tv's chat servers at all. Perhaps you may want to contact http://support.twitch.tv.

When you first introduced JTV's move to Django you mentioned the highlight system will be limited to save storage space. Are you saying that idea has be scrapped? ...and that there will be more functionality to past broadcasts (like not having to make four 2 hour highlights to archive a previous broadcast)?

Currently there is no storage limit on Django. The past broadcast part system is still the same, but we'll see if we can clean this up in the future.

That's very good to hear! Are there any plans to implement widescreen highlights on JTV, similar to twitch.tv?

Shame really

The chat server has been working just fine on the IRC side (AKA If you are using an IRC client) HOWEVER there are still some issues on the website end of things (As brought out in the most recent outage where one could easily access rooms via an IRC client but not via the website). Hopefully this upgrade will resolve that issue

Out of curiosity, have you looked into Meebo chat as an alternative/backup? Just wondering.....

And the reason you can't do the same to the JTV is because..... ??

I'm sorry but I'm afraid I'm either missing something or it sounds like you're not doing something right

Why not try using either.....

1) A gaming console like a PS 3 or Wii or an Xbox (Like most gamers do)
2) A VNC Viewer if you stream PC or phone games
3) A second PC or Tablet with an IRC app to monitor the chat

Just trying to be helpful.....

I have the Chat problems for more than 9 month and couldn't solve the problem. Doesn't matter what I try.

For example, on the on the site where you can see who and what is streaming the Window with my information's pop up, on my Streamside NOT.
