Hi Everyone,
It has been brought to our attention that many of our community members are having trouble signing in and moving past 18+ mature content pages. This is a large concern to us and we have been investigating this problem throughout the weekend. Although we continue to investigate, we do have a fix to avoid this problem. ------ Update: 7/10/12 3:30 PM Pacific We issued a fix which will hopefully solve this problem. Please follow Step One and then try it. You should no longer need to preform Step 2. Please let us know your result Update: 7/11/12 10:40 AM Pacific We made some updates to the below steps. For Step 1, ensure you are clearing cookies with a time range of Everything. If that still does not work, one of our community members, waltdisneysghost, posted instructions on clearing cookies for individual sites (Step 2). Update: 7/16/12 12:13 PM Pacific We battled with the Internet cookie monster and pushed a fix yesterday. I'm no longer seeing this complaint come in . This should be fixed- You should no longer need to clear your cookies. Please note: At this time, if you move to a different subdomain (such as justin.tv to es.justin.tv) you will need to sign into that subdomain. We will get that fixed up so you're logged in across the website. Glad this appears to be no longer a problem. ------ Step One: Clear your cookies and cache! It is a simple process that might save you time. Follow these instructions and then see if the problem continues. If this did not fix the problem... Step Two: Fixes are being reported for the following browsers... For Firefox: Quote:
Step Two: Resetting your Internet browser's user settings appears to be fixing this for our community. We confirmed this fix for both Internet Explorer and Firefox. For Internet Explorer: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/w...net-Explorer-9 Please ensure "Delete Personal Settings" is checked (Note: This will reset your homepage). For Firefox: Note: This has been reported to no longer fix the problem. http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/...s-fix-problems For Safari: We are working on a solution... For Google Chrome: Reported to be working. Please let us know your results. We will continue to investigate this problem. Thanks for all of your patience!

I had a problem with logging into Justin.TV (firefox). I was redirected to the previous page I was looking at after I pressed the log in button. The problem was fixed after a quick cache/cookie clear. At least we know that works.

Thanks Dylan, but a cookie and cache clear didn't help... I will attempt the browser reset.

I meant to add, I am also having to log back in after any break in the stream, pause, or screen refresh.

The browser reset (firefox) was also no good- I cannot get past the 18 only page(s). It appears to loop between two pages, both are 18 only logins, but have a different appearance.

How come firefox/explorer/chrome will not save my login info anymore.
every morning when I go to jtv I have to re-enter my id & pass, wasn't like this before the change. And why am I getting "Youve been bumped from this session.". Also, you can't watch jtv on androids using the built in browser, firefox or chrome. |

Hi all,
first I tried deleting all my temp files. That didn't work... (I thought I had cleared my cache with this as well, but alas...) Then I started FF in safe mode and disabled everything... Didn't help. Finally cleared my cache through tools > clear history. That finally worked. I'm still annoyed however by the fact that I have log into JTV every day... It won't remember my login anymore (as with more people as I understand...). This wasn't necessary before. Please fix this, because it's getting quite annoying. Thank you, Rhebus |
