To join the admin team it can take a while, you have to prove you truly care about justin.tv and are committed to helping make it better. You can show this by helping out the community here in the forums and/or reporting legitimate TOS violations.

Hi, there is not really a fixed time for that, several factors can be involved, like : when more help is needed, when a good candidate is found, when the person in charge of final decition has the time , etc
but if you already applied you don't need to do it again after a time (with the same or other username ) , those are saved and any user could be selected at any time

i know about that part i've been on here for three years or more but i don't help in the forums if someone has a problem i help them on jtv and answer their questions not everyone uses the forum they like to pm you i was just asking how long the process takes and i have experience

Hi again, like i said before there is not a time when a candidated is selected since they filled the application IF they are selected (not everyone is, just a really small porcentage really, just look at that list.)
