Trying to get my STREAM KEY, HELP!

when i click the button to get my key, I get an error. It's a pink banner that comes down from the top of the screen.

There was an error retrieving your stream key.

Is there a solution to this problem? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

uhm, working here, can you show us a screenshot of the error?
in the meantime you can get your stream key also from the config file(you can download it or open it in your browser)

Firefox, but i've tried using IE as well.

can you give me an example of the length/size/spacing of the stream key?
does it keep the underscores?
I think I got it out of the cfg, maybe.

I think I know your issue. Try doing to http://twitch.tv/broadcast/dashboard first (this creates your channel) and then try viewing the stream key. You won't be able to connect to the ingest servers until your channel is created anyway.

Yes, the format is "live_NNNNN_XXXXXXXXXX" when N is a number and X is a alphanumeric character.
