Banned from JTV

I was banned form the entire site... I was streaming the BMX event of the olympics... I have been streaming for a week!!!! Been streaming without any problems.... Channel was never shut down... And i was streaming something that was public!! it was a live feed!!!! Someone please unban me.... I need to be able to access the site... George... You replied to my old thread and you said nothing about helping me... Fix this issue... I have seen channels get banned left and right but the user is neever " banned" from the entire site... it isnt fair... for example... fairuseftw has had over 700 names.. he has been shut down... and he didnt get banned from the entire site... Please fix this!!!

Please fix this issue.... All you did in my previous thread was copy and paste what i already know.. I saw the same message you posted.. I need to have this resolved...

Since this is a DMCA violation its possible that it took this long for someone to find your channel and request that it be closed. DMCA channel closures are triggered by request of the rights holder of the event and not Justin.tv themselves.

and no, Justin.tv cannot reopen channels closed for a DMCA. If you believe it was an error, you can file a counter claim outlined here.

like bgeorge said there, there is nothing that jtv can do about that, you broadcasted something without the rights then the legal owner requiered your channel to be closed, and jtv can't do anything else than close it since is a site that follows the dmca rules.

by the way, oplympics are not free, no public, someone has the rights to broadcast that on tv, you can't rebroadcast that just because is on tv
