I am curious what, if any, impact "international paywall" would have on purely domestic channels and viewers? Anything?

BTW.... still getting tons of sporadic response code 503 (Service Unavailable) when pushing RTP packets to live*.justin.tv. This is very new within the last few weeks or so, anything changed? Is it worth my time providing you debug data to help fix the problem?

that screenshot (empty directory) is not related at all with the black screen and/or paywall issue, that was a issue that happened today and was already fixed

OK... it wasn't "related at all" with the other issues reported at the exact same time as mine, sure, I get it.


BTW... any explanation for the empty directory?

was not the same thing, for sure, idk the tech part but i know the black screen one is a way more dificult to identify and fix, about the one with the empty directories was fixed in minutes.

Hi Guild,

This thread is specifically in regards to a long-term bug where some of our community members were occasionally coming across a black screen with "Live" in the upper right corner.

The problem we saw yesterday was due to a critical website system going down. This affected both Justin.tv and Twitch streams, and eventually brought the website down in its entirety.

Our engineers were immediately alerted and promptly worked to restore service.
