Additional, on further experimenting, it looks like three commands, : w/ lower case o, upper case O, and zero 0, all work to produce that emote. I understand that zero was likely added to help prevent confusion for people, but in our case it really acting as a regular malfunction. I know it's a long shot, but if there is a way you could remove the zero we'd be happy campers over at RM911.

Lightbulb Unwanted emotes ought to be fixed

If it is not possible to turn off the monkey faces would it be possible to modify it so that it requires a (letter O) to activate it?

Radioman has an excellent point, but here's a better idea: How about fixing it so that all the emotes "work" (i.e., display the trigger characters as a graphic) ONLY when the following is true:
#1 - The trigger characters begin the line of text or are preceded by a space, AND
#2 - The trigger characters end the line of text or are followed by a space.

The monkey face shouldn't replace characters when those characters are adjacent to other text as in a time-of-day expression. Call it a bug or call it an implementation that wasn't well thought out, it ought to be ticketed to be fixed.
