Default Copyright banned!

My channel was copyright banned the other day (27th July), which i acknowledge and accept. I was sent an email saying i was banned for 24 hours. That time has passed and my channel still not been restored. I now read that channels banned for copyright will not be restored. I only usually cast games on twitch (this cast was moved to jtv) and this was first mistake.

I also dont understand why my stream was moved from twitch to the sports section on jtv? Who can do that? If it was staff then a warning from them would have be helpful, or from the 7 pros in my channel at the time.

If i knew i would get a perm ban i wouldnt have done it. Im finally getting a following and decent viewer numbers on my channel, and i dont want to lose it.
Anyone else managed to get one of these bans overturned?
I have emailed help but no response yet.
Channel is justin.tv/parknride twitch.tv/parknride

Any help would be great especially from admins or staff.

sometimes it takes an extra day and it could also means they chnaged there mind and decided to permanently ban you..being banned is a part of casting...there is no way around it..also what were you casting? if you were casting sports then that is def an easy way to get banned....

Hi
The email said yours was a 24 hours ban, the message on the channel said that too? (right now is not saying that)
What was you streaming? games or sports? Both things can be subject of a dmca ban, in the case of games if the game is a new game not released yet in the united states.
About moving the channel, only twitch admins (in your case) and staff can move it, pros can't really do anything to your channel.
If you already sent an emailall you can do then is wait. I believe 99.99% of the times a dmca violation is not reversed until was a clear mistake.

I was streaming the Olympic Openeing Ceremony. A mistake i now realise. But if sport is subject to a ban, my channel shouldnt have been moved by staff or admin it shouldve been stopped when it was on twitch. Now i cant log in at all despite the 24 hour email.

We (Twitch Admins) don't close channels for copyright violations. Those are up to the rights holder (probably BBC or NBC in your case) to issue a DMCA takedown and have it automatically taken down or have a staff member assist them.

We will however move non-gaming content (sports, tv shows, anime, etc.) out of gaming since we do not allow that kind of stuff to be broadcast on Twitch. This is totally separate from any copyright issues.

No one has the right to revoke a copyright ban, if you broadcasting copyright material. There is a huge risk in streaming anything copyrighted, and also must realize there are zero second chances (24 hour bans are becoming more and more rare) (by law, there is absolutely nothing JTV can do if the content owner has decided to close your stream).
