look, you are nice to answer , but your answers don't reply to my questions..

I dont care about jtvlc, I was just giving it as an example..

I stream for 10 months with ffmpeg and justin tv again is BUGGY for some days.

maybe some of their sys admin will have a look at the logs I provided.. who knows.. hope never die :P

Thank you for you concern!!!
Can i ask you mike if i'm in your ignore-list what are you want for me ?!?!?!?!
Mike if you not use linux jtvlc + vlc or ffmpeg in linux probably you must not post here in this thread too i love kids troll like you anyway...
OH i forgot you not read this i'm still in your ignore-list.

undercash the hope is good thing but there is not how you called sys admins which casting in linux around ( in fact there is few people like me and you and
few others that cast in linux)
To configure your ffmpeg ( i doubt that is the issue ) you know better cuz you know your system better than any one.
Just change the server (and cross fingers )

P.S. Probably admin will tell you the same or something like this is server issue that jtv work on right now

i broadcast with that system for over 10 months, and no problems.
Actually I moved to another server 2 weeks ago and I had like 7 8 channels running without any issue for a week or more.
So I assume this isn't an issue with my setup

so let's be rational.

ffmpeg is connected to justin rtmp servers, encoding and sending the stream.
On justin's site the channel appear live, but no video appear at all.

So, I assume:

first: if there was a channel limit per ip (why not after all) their rtmp server would refuse any additional connections, rather than accept the stream.

2d: If my setup of broadcasting 8 9 channels worked for almost 2 weeks, and I didn't change anything, then the issue lie in justin side?

well, lots of questions.. trying to be rational .. but few answers I guess.

since I still have my old server till the end of the month, I decided to broadcast half half, 4 channels on each to see if it makes any differences.

absolutely no differences, some channels won't have videos and eventually we get the video back when switching to the next file. As I said in another thread, if I goes in the past broadcasts, the videos that weren't displayed in the player while being live are indeed recorded, witch proved that the stream was well received by justin
