I'm going to try and use this thread to offer some tips for resolving issues commonly experienced in the Django version of JTV. Including how to solve them or if they are a current bug or not. Please feel free to post below and I will try and keep building and updating this


Meebo

If you are experiencing the issue where your meebo bar has disappeared please try going to http://justin.tv/settings/account/details/ and unchecking "Hide Meebo Chat." and click Save Settings at the bottom of the page.


Flagged Channel

Many users have been reporting their channel is flagged, but they didn't do anything wrong. This is a current bug and is being worked on by the staff, it seems to be common amongst 18+/Mature Content Channels and Private Channels.

UPDATE: Seems some users who fit into neither of these categories are also experiencing this issue. Will update you guys as more information becomes available.

UPDATE 2: This should be solved now. If anyone else is still experiencing this issue please email Dylan at dylan@justin.tv, and he will look into it.


Chat Loading Issues

[06/21/12] A few users have reported that chats are not loading for them. Many of these users have reported the issue being solved when they restarted their browser, and cleared their cache. As well please try adding www. in front of justin.tv and it should load. Fix is being worked on.

[06/22/12] UPDATE: There was a fix pushed that will automatically adds www. to the front of the justin.tv link. This will fix chats and should cease login problems.

Followers/Total View Count

[06/21/12] They temporarily had to remove the display of followers and total view counts. They are still populating, but are not displaying. Hopefully this issue should be resolved soon. Don't worry I don't believe any of the info will be lost. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Unexplainable IP Ban

There was an issue with a large number of users getting IP banned unintentionally. This should be almost entirely fixed by now, but there were a few cases that got missed. Sorry for the inconvenience.


Highlight Deletion Notice

[06/27/12] Your highlights will not be deleted! There is a false message that says highlights will be removed in 2 days, but they won't. Breathe easy!

Past Broadcasts

[06/29/12] Past broadcasts currently only remain for 2 DAY. Please make sure to highlight clips you don't want deleted before the 48 hour mark, as once content is removed it is impossible to retrieve.

Pro Issues

[07/02/12] JTV is having an issue with Paypal charging users without creating their accounts. They are working on refunding all those charges. Sorry for the inconvenience.

However, if you paid with a credit card, were charged, and did not get Pro status, please let Daniel know your usernames and email so he can look up your charge and activate your account. You email at daniel@justin.tv.

Now I can not sign into my account whats going on this need to be solved quickle.

yes i have deleted cookies and history
worked fine last night and any other night before this change.

on this thread i tried to do a quick reply and it bogged my pc down
had to go with reply button

keep at it yall will get it good to go

if not i will have to come get me some.

also see latest vids on my channel did a few coments about deleted vids

looks like after digging a highlight needs to be made to save vids from deletion and why are ther so many hidden vids on my chanel i did not hide them.

lol man i dont envy u guys looks like lots o work ahead......please dont give up. you tub requires too much to broadcast on there and i just like j tv more an been here longer.

also where did the download vid button go

i would like to do some cut and edit on my own and repost.
