European server is online: rtmp://live-lhr.justin.tv/app
Please give it a shot if you're not in the US. |

Only had a few minutes to test but using rtmp://live-lhr.justin.tv/app seems to be better. Buffer only increased if I went above 3.3 mbit/s (of 10mbit/s available), below 3.3mbit/s the buffer remained near zero.

Yep, the server you broadcast to has no effect on your viewers. We're just trying to shorten the network path from your encoder to our servers.
Our network engineers have set up a global load balancing service for you guys to test. We'll automatically pick the best origin server for you based on your location if you connect to rtmp://live-3c.justin.tv/app We will continue to add additional server locations to the live-3c cluster, so you'll automatically pick up the benefits if we add a new server closer to where you live. Hope this helps, and keep the feedback coming! |

Hello
I just tested 4 servers and I had no lag at all. I was streaming constantly at 1296kpbs and the picture was perfect and buffer in FME was at 0.00 at all times. I will test all servers on weekend and put a comment in this thread. If it is the same on weekend, I will be happy |

I'd just like to say, even though some ppl here may still have some difficulty, I'm content JTV is putting their best foot forward and at least are actually getting things done now. It's a true giant step for getting things back in the right direction.
