Default Xsplit lag problems?

Ok so whenever I try streaming with Xsplit my in game FPS drops to 15-20 FPS and I can't seem to get it higher.

My computer specs:
gtx 260 16 core
4 gigs of DDR2 ram
Intel Quad core Q8400 2.66ghz
Windows 7 ultimate 64 bit

My internet connection according to speed test
Download: 5.48 Mb/s
Upload: .54 Mb/s

I know my upload speed blows but I don't think that would be the cause of my ingame FPS drop. If anyone knows the solution to this problem I would be eternally grateful! A weird thing is my friends who use Xsplit recommended this to me (their computers are just barely better then mine) and yet they are getting no lag no problems so yeah again thanks in advance for anyone who can help

OH I guess I should add this is for streaming starcraft 2!

I have both those checked on (even tested with them checked off to see if that would help).

I do have Windows 7 Basic going.

Thanks for the help so far but unfortunately already had those before xsplit .

What is the resolution you are broadcasting in?
What is the ingame resolution and graphics settings?
What bitrate are you using for video and audio?

The resolutions I have available are: 768 by 432 (16 by 9), 640 by 480 (4 by 3), 640 by 360 (16 by 9), 320 by 240 (4 by 3) and thats it for resolutions. Uh incase you meant in the part where quality and stuff is its Default Mixer resolution.

My ingame resolution is fullscreen windowed mode (which is 1920 by 1200), graphics settings are medium. I even put settings on lowest and it still lags that bad no improvement at all.

My max bitrate is 350kbps, buffer size being 700.

Audio is 44.100 khz 16 bit sterio (mp3 codec) Bitrate is 64,000.

Even for i7's, capturing your desktop in full HD and playing at the same time can be painful. Try putting ingame resolution to 1280x720 and test it out.

I'm not sure if starcraft 2 lets you go to windowed mode with resolution below your current desktop one, but make sure you try it if its possible.

i'm not going HD though (upload speed sucks for that :P). But I have friends who's computers aren't much better then mine running this flawlessly. I tried googling this issue and alot of people have it as well (some with way better computers then mine :P) but no fixes.

Thats why I said to put ingame resolution to 1280x720
Note, that is not output stream resolution that you are gonna be casting in, thats the resolution you are gonna be playing in.

For output (stream resolution) I would suggest trying 640x360
